Black Love Philly
Black Love Philly started as a Husband & Wife duo who wanted to improve their community via the arts. They started a quarterly show “Black Love Philly (Celebrating The Black Family)” as a vehicle to do so. As well as combining their individual poetic talent for its benefit. This energetic group has performed on many platforms. Opening for comedy show, fundraisers, featuring at several open mics, they bring something different to the stage.
"Being interviewed by WHYY was great, but the highlight of it all has been the love & respect of the people. The ability to double in members & not lose the integrity of goal has been phenomenal. This is more than just a poetry group it’s a living idea that only they believed in!!!"
